plays every recorder and tin whistle that has ever been made! I never thought much of the recorder until I heard Nick playing one. He has a mastery over this instrument and an imagination which works its way through his fingertips and out of his mouth to produce beautiful sounds.

Nicks first recording was about an adventure between two children who find a sailing ship on the shore and imagine an exciting journey together.

The music opens the story with an piece that reflects the curiosity of the children as they wander the beach. The sounds change into fun and laughter as the journey aboard the ship begins. The most stunning moment for me musically is when the children upon reaching land, find their way into a bat cave. This was Nicks first ever recording. He wrote and narrated the story, played recorders, tin whistles, and saxophone. He was assisted by Leigh Newton who provided tasteful guitar and mandolin.
